Low brightness / dark picture.

When encountering a video that has a dark picture or low brightness, this is usually normal. Improper lighting causes dark spots and dark gray shades in the film.

Check to ensure your Video Card drivers are up to date.
Turning your monitor brightness up. This will allow you to view portions of the video that are much darker, or the whole video itself.
Your video may be in low quality. In this case the bad lightning is normal.
If you do not see video at all, this may be a codec issue. (See "No Video")
